Wow, so does this actually look like it could be… good? I’m super skeptical of any live-action versions of anime/manga, but this one has me interested.  It seems like it could be a decent adaptation, which is great because Rurouni Kenshin was one of my favorite shows growing up. The characters don’t look too ridiculous (Kenshin is supposed to look sort of silly anyway), the story could easily stand beside some of the better films of the genre, and the action scenes look pretty well done, from a few clips anyway. The biggest problem I think will be how much of the story they try to stuff into a movie. Don’t know much about it, but  I’ll be keeping my eye on it in any case. Doesn’t come out until august in Japan.
